Olympique Marseille: +130,000 people try for tickets for match vs PSG at the Vélodrome (27/10/2024)

Olympique de Marseille recorded more than 130,000 connections to their online ticketing system ahead of the match versus Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity) on Sunday 27 October (kick-off at 20:45 CET) as part of Matchday 9 of the 2024-25 Ligue 1 McDonald's, the club told News Tank Football on 25/10/2024.

OM, who have a record 49,000 season ticket holders (the limit set by the club) in 2024-25, sold the 17,000 available tickets "in just a few hours". "The demand, combined with the number of season ticket holders, would have made it possible to fill the stadium three times over," added the Phocaean club, whose sales and marketing department is headed by Grégory La Mela.

The match, which could enable the club to reach an all-time attendance record, will be the 50^th sold-out match in two and a half years at the Orange Vélodrome, which is as many as in the 16 years that preceded this series.
