Serie A Enilive: AC Milan - SSC Napoli free-to-air on DAZN on 29/10, a first in Italy since 1996

AC Milan - SSC Napoli, on Matchday 10 of the 2024-25 Serie A Enilive, will be broadcast exclusively free-to-air on the OTT platform DAZN in Italy on Tuesday 29/10/2024 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), announced the Lega Serie A on 25/10/2024.

This is the first time since 13/04/1996 and the Juventus FC - UC Sampdoria match that an Italian top flight fixture will be broadcast exclusively free-to-air, according to Lega Serie A. The initiative is "an opportunity that is part of the 'try and buy' package of TV rights acquired by the live sports streaming platform for the broadcast of the Serie A until 2029 and that allows it to broadcast a limited number of matches (up to 5 matches out of 380) free-to-air, per season," explained the Italian league.

DAZN holds the domestic broadcasting rights to all Serie A matches for the 2024-2029 cycle for €700m per season. The pay-TV operator Sky Italia co-broadcasts three games per matchday over the same cycle for €200m a year.
