Ligue 1: Stade Rennais creates the "Students Cup", an indoor tournament for the students of Rennes

Stade Rennais (Ligue 1) will hold the first edition of the "Students Cup", an indoor football tournament restricted to students from Rennes, from 24/02/2015.

"Based on the values of friendship, social connections, good will and fair play within and between these schools, this 5-a-side football tournament is aimed at the student organisations of all the higher education institutions of the Rennes area," announced Stade Rennais.

The winners of the competition will receive the trophy on the pitch at the Stade de la Route de Lorient (29,700 seats) on the day when Stade Rennais host Olympique Lyonnais (38^th and last matchday of Ligue 1), 23/05/2015.

All participants will be invited to a Stade Rennais match

• Registration for the Students Cup is open to all the student organisations of higher education institutions in Rennes.
  • Registration cost: €70 per team.
• The competition begins with two qualifying rounds, on 24/02/2015 and 17/03/2015, held in 5 Urban Soccer's football centres.
