esports: FFF & Volkswagen present France's team for the 1^st FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League

The Fédération Française de Football and its major partner Volkswagen have presented the three players selected to represent France in the first FIFAe World Cup to be played on the car football video game Rocket League (Psyonix), at Paris Games Week on 26/10/2024.

"For the first time, the selection of players for a French team is being carried out through branded content. A powerful film (see below) combining action and humour, designed by Volkswagen, unveils the players in an epic atmosphere at the National Football Centre in Clairefontaine (Yvelines), an emblematic venue for French football," said the FFF, which had become the first Federation to launch a national eFootball team in 2018.

The "FIFAe World Cup Rocket League 2024" will pit 16 national teams against each other in December 2024.
