Social media: Real Madrid "first sports organisation" to accumulate 600 million followers

Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) has become "the first sports organisation" to accumulate more than 600 million followers on social media, according to specialist data measurement company Blinkfire, announced the club on 28/10/2024.

• The Spanish club has "the highest number of followers across the vast majority of its platforms, particularly on Facebook (125 million), Instagram (169 million), X (51.7 million), TikTok (51.3 million), Snapchat and WhatsApp."
• The club has a total of 37 official accounts for all its sections (men's and women's football, basketball, academy, Santiago Bernabéu and Madridistas) in seven languages (Spanish, English, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese) and on 14 platforms.

In addition, for the eighth consecutive season in 2023-24, Real Madrid is the club with the highest number of visits to its official website, with a monthly average of 8.9 million unique visitors, according to a study by the digital analysis agency SimilarWeb relayed by the Madrid club on 14/10/2024.
