"The big technology companies are essential partners in preventing fraud. But they also contribute to the development of piracy. I've been talking to these people about how to stop it, because it's a criminal act. There are so many ways of obtaining content illegally. Many broadcasters are vulnerable. These pirates try to get into the system and steal the signal. Sometimes it's even too easy for them," said Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA, at Sportel Monaco 2024 on 29/10/2024.

The Spaniard spoke during a keynote entitled "Big tech's role in enabling audiovisual fraud". News Tank is a media partner of the 2024 edition of the event, organised by Monaco Mediax at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from 28 to 30/10/2024.

"There are two main problems with social network X today: the huge amount of illegal content and the fact that the platform allows the publication of content lasting two hours, which is more than a football match.
