Olympique Lyonnais: McDonald's (fast food) extends as an official supplier (2024-2027)

American fast-food chain McDonald’s, via 31 franchised restaurants based "in and around Lyon (Rhône)", has extended its role as an official supplier (4^th level) to Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) for a further three seasons, covering the 2024-2027 cycle, announced the club on 30/10/2024. The agreement, which has been in force since the 2015-16 season, was negotiated by the agency Sportfive.

As part of the renewed partnership, McDonald's has been awarded "the official naming of the village and family stand at Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu)" and will also benefit from visibility on the stadium's LED signage. The two partners will also be offering "a complete package and exclusive advantages, such as a special supporter offer on tickets and the season ticket, as well as McDonald's tickets to be won," said the Rhône-Alpes club.

In addition to Olympique Lyonnais, McDonald's has signed two sponsorship agreements with two Ligue 1 clubs since acquiring the naming rights to the French top flight from the LFP for the 2024-2027 cycle (see below). The group became an official…
