LFP: agreement with WSC Sports to generate content via AI (2024-2029)

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has entered into an agreement with WSC Sports to "create AI-tailored content" for Ligue 1 McDonald's, Ligue 2 BKT and the Trophée des champions over the 2024-2029 cycle (five seasons), announced the Israeli company specialised in sports technology and artificial intelligence (AI) on 04/11/2024.

As part of the agreement, "WSC Sports will analyse every match in the three competitions in real time using its AI-based platform, automating the creation, management and distribution of video content. WSC Sports' technology will enable the creation of a wide range of personalised content of varying lengths and image formats for use across all of LFP's platforms and broadcast channels, allowing the league to maximise the impact of its intellectual property and create new revenue streams from its digital assets," explained the Israeli company.
