2024 League of Legends Worlds final: most popular esports match ever with 6.94 million peak viewers

A peak audience of 6.941 million viewers was recorded on the Twitch and YouTube platforms during the fifth match (out of five played) of the final of the 2024 League of Legends World Championships (the "Worlds", organised by Riot Games) which pitted the South Korean team T1 against the Chinese outfit Bilibili Gaming (3-2) at the O2 Arena in London (ENG) on 02/11/2024, according to data published by Esports Charts, a site specialised in esport audiences, on 02/11/2024.

"The Grand Final of the 2024 League of Legends World Championship has created history, ending as the most popular match in esports history," said the site specialised in esports audience data. In detail, live streams on YouTube recorded a peak of 3.34 million viewers, while streams on Twitch generated a peak of 2.54 million viewers.
