The economic impact of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) on the Greater Paris Region for the 2023-24 season amounted to €243m, according to a study by the Centre for Sports Law and Economics (CDES) published on 04/11/2024.

This €243m, which represents an increase of 33.4% compared with the 2018-19 season (€182.2m, according to the previous CDES study), is made up of the Paris club's primary economic impact (direct effects), estimated at €194.4m, plus its secondary impact (indirect and induced effects) of €48.6m.

The two objectives of the study, entitled "Economic Impact and Social Utility of Paris Saint-Germain in the Greater Paris region for the 2023-24 Season - A club at the heart of its region" were "to:
• "assess the economic impact of Paris SG in the Greater Paris region, i.e. the club's contribution to the creation of wealth in the region;
• analyse and highlight the social and civic initiatives undertaken by the club, which position it as a responsible and committed player" (see downloadable summary).
