FIFA: Kevin Lamour (ex-UEFA) takes up his duties as the new chief operating officer

Kevin Lamour, former UEFA deputy general secretary, took up his position as chief operating officer at FIFA on 01/11/2024, announced the International Federation the same day.

"Kevin Lamour's role will involve overseeing a number of divisions and sub-divisions within the administration - namely Audit & Advisory, Communications, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Member Associations, People, Technology & Operations, Professional Football Relations and Development, and Social Responsibility & Education - across three locations in Zürich (SUI), Paris and Miami (Florida, USA)," explained FIFA.

Lamour's arrival was announced internally on 18/09/2024 in a letter signed by Mattias Grafström, secretary general of the world governing body.
