Rugby: New Zealand - France in Las Vegas (USA) in 2025, 2028 Nations Cup final in Qatar

"France is scheduled to play New Zealand in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) in 2025. We're in the process of finalising the discussions. It hasn't yet been signed. We have a meeting with New Zealand Rugby (federation) on 15/11/2024 (the FFR's federal bureau will make its decision on 08/11/2024)," said Abdelatif Benazzi, vice president responsible for international affairs at the FFR and candidate to become World Rugby chairman, to News Tank on 31/10/2024.

The French national team is due to play a three-test tour against New Zealand in the summer of 2025.

"New Zealand Rugby is proposing that we play the third test in Las Vegas in a stadium with a minimum capacity of 65,000. We'll have to see how we get on financially, but exporting to a new territory is very interesting for us. We need to find a good deal commercially speaking," added the former France captain (78 caps), while ticket and hospitality revenues from the first two matches played in New Zealand will be collected in full by the host association.
