Media: OBS launches programme to promote gender equality in the run-up to Milano Cortina 2026

Olympic Broadcasting Services, the IOC subsidiary responsible for producing TV footage for the Olympic Games, is rolling out the "Engineering the Future" programme to promote gender equality in sports broadcasting, announced the International Olympic Committee on 05/11/2024.

The programme, which consists of a 24-week internship starting on 10/01/2025 at the OBS headquarters in Madrid (ESP), "offers women the chance to contribute to the broadcast operations for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, one of the most complex sports broadcasting projects in the world," said the IOC. "Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional broadcast setting, learn about the latest broadcast technologies, and develop the foundational skills needed to succeed in an evolving industry."
