Eagle Football Group: total revenue of €361.4m (+25%) & a net loss of €25.7m in 2023-24

Total revenue from Eagle Football Group's operations during the 2023-24 financial year (01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024) was €361.4m, up 25% on 2022-23 (€289.7m), announced the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) on 06/11/2024. The net loss was reduced to €25.7m, compared with a deficit of €99m at the end of the previous financial year.

The club's operating profit fell from -€76.3m in 2022-23 to €26.5m, while EBITDA rose to €44.2m (compared with -€1.8m the previous year) due to "one-off revenues (LFP/CVC payments and the sale of OL Féminin) and the strong events business over the year," explained the holding company headed by American John Textor. Personnel costs increased by 3% to €161.9m (compared with €156.7m in 2022-23).
