ASO: a turnover of €320.9m (+9.5%) in 2023 boosted by the management of Paris 2024 test events

Amaury Sport Organisation generated a turnover of €320.972m in 2023 (from 01/01 to 31/12/2023), up 9.5% (+€27.9m) on 2022 (€293.02m), according to the Amaury Group subsidiary's annual financial results. This represents an increase of 53% over the last eight financial years (€208.9m in 2015).

"The mission entrusted to ASO for the organisation of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games accounts for the majority of the increase in turnover," explained the group. ASO was involved with the Paris 2024 COJOP in organising the triathlon and mountain bike test events, dress rehearsals for the events organised ahead of the Games at the competition venues, as well as providing "solutions on larger projects," according to the annual report.

In detail, these Organising Committee-related revenues are included in the "Other" category, which rose by 59% (+€13.3m) year-on-year to €35.8m. The main source of revenue continues to come from the "Rights and Production" category (€281.8m), up 5% (€14.4m). Merchandising revenues came to €3.2m (+5% or €155,000).
