IOC Presidency: "The Olympic Games aren't doing enough to engage the new generation" (Sebastian Coe)

"The Olympic Games are the world's greatest sporting spectacle and Paris 2024 was proof of how thrilling and life-affirming they can be. But my instinct is that the Games is not doing enough to engage the next generation - to capture the imaginations of young people so that they dream of becoming Olympians. Seven personalities, all IOC members, are standing for election as president of the body with a view to succeeding Germany's Thomas Bach, in office since 10/09/2013 (re-elected for four years on 10/03/2021), for an eight-year term (2025-2032).
