Milano Cortina 2026: visual identity & 22 pictograms for the Olympic Winter Games unveiled

The organising committee of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games unveiled the visual identity and pictograms of the disciplines on the competition programme on 07/11/2024, 483 days before the Games begin.

According to the IOC, "Milano Cortina 2026's creative vision is inspired by the concept of the 'human gesture', a theme that captures Italian talent, movement and artistry. This vision stems from a creative process grounded in the new 'Italian spirit', reflecting the host region's culture and history. At the centre of Milano Cortina 2026's vibrant identity are the 'Vibes', a four-element design scheme that includes:
• Signs that reproduce the human gesture;
• Curved shapes that evoke movement;
• Straight, intersecting lines that enhance dynamism;
• A white blur effect inspired by snow and winter."

This visual identity, characterised by "bold signs, vibrant colours, and dynamic shapes", will be used on the slopes and competition venues, in the host cities, on merchandise and in communications for Milano Cortina 2026.
