Rugby: the clothing brand Eden Park becomes the official outfitter of World Rugby (2015-2019)

The French clothing brand Eden Park has become the official outfitter of World Rugby (international governing body of rugby union) for the 2015-2019 period, announced the two parties on 12/02/2015. Eden Park is the first official outfitter in the history of the international body.

Eden Park will dress World Rugby officials during the 2015 World Cup in England (from 18/09 to 31/10/2015) and during all competitions organised by the body, including rugby sevens, an Olympic sport as of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The brand states that "for now" it is not planning to develop a specific range of suits or clothing dedicated to World Rugby.

• "England and the United Kingdom are a legitimate target for World Rugby with the approach of the World Cup 2015, we will strengthen our presence by, amongst other things, opening pop-up stores in duty free areas," said Franck Mesnel, the founder of the brand, on 12/02/2015.
• "Our goal now is to grow more internationally, particularly in Asia," said the former international rugby player.
• World Rugby is looking for six partners for the 2015-2019 period.
