Women's rugby: record demand for tickets for the 2025 World Cup in England

"Women's Rugby World Cup England 2025 is generating record demand, with more than 100,000 tickets requested in just the first week of the application phase adding to the 130,000 tickets already sold in the presale (available from 24/09 to 08/10/2024)," announced World Rugby on 13/11/2024.

This new sale launched on 05/11, which covers all matches in the competition, is available until Tuesday 19/11/2024. Individuals will be notified of the results of their applications on 02/12/2024.

World Rugby, which co-organises the competition with the English Rugby Union (RFU), has reported "huge demand for England pool matches and the showpiece final at Twickenham Stadium."

The Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 will being held in England from 22/08 to 27/09/2025. The 10^th edition of the Women's World Cup, the first to be contested by 16 teams, will take place in eight English stadiums. The opening match, in which the England team will take part, will be played at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 22/08, while the final will take place at Twickenham Stadium in London on 27/09/2025.
