Formula 1: Monaco Grand Prix extended on the F1 calendar until 2031

Formula One Management and the Automobile Club de Monaco have extended their partnership for a further six years to keep the Monaco Grand Prix on the FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar until 2031, on 14/11/2024.

The 3.3km-long urban circuit was included on the calendar of the first Formula 1 World Championship in 1950, and has been represented in F1 since the 1955 season (excluding the 2020 edition cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic). "The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most famous sporting events in the world and the ultimate test of concentration and skill for F1 drivers," said Formula One Management.

As part of this extension, the Monaco Grand Prix will be postponed by one week from the 2026 season. "The event will be contested on the first full weekend in June each year," explained the governing body. The event has previously been held in June on five occasions in 1962, 1973, 1984, 2000 and 2003. The 2025 edition is scheduled from 23 to 25/05/2025.
