Paris Saint-Germain: 2,500 youngsters invited to the Parc des Princes for 9^th "solidarity canteen"

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's), through its foundation, PSG For Communities, has organised the 9^th edition of its "solidarity canteen" at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) to help young people in need of food, on 16/11/2024. As part of the initiative, meals were distributed by 200 young volunteers to 2,500 students, according to the club.

The initiative, organised in collaboration with the charity "Linkee - Entraide Étudiante", "reached an unprecedented scale, becoming the largest operation to support students in difficulty in the Greater Paris region," said Paris Saint-Germain.

"Faced with growing precariousness, with 20% of students living below the poverty line, PSG For Communities is stepping up its action for the 2024-25 season, aiming to help 8,000 young people, after supporting more than 4,500 students over the last three years.
