Tennis: ATP Finals in Italy until 2030; an economic impact of €503m for the 2024 event

The ATP Tour's end-of-season tournament, the Nitto ATP Finals, will continue to be staged in Italy over the 2026-2030 cycle, announced the Association of Tennis Professionals, which has extended its partnership with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) for a further five seasons from 18/11/2024.

"The location options beyond 2025 are under evaluation, with further updates to be provided in due course," said the ATP. While the 2025 edition will, as it has since 2021, be staged at the Inalpi Arena (15,657 capacity) in Turin, the tournament featuring the top eight players in the ATP rankings and the top eight doubles players could move to Milan (16,000 capacity) in a new venue built to host the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, according to the Italian business daily Sole 24 Ore on 10/11/2024.

On the subject of a potential move, "no decision has been made," said Angelo Binaghi, FITP president during the closing conference of the 2024 edition of the tournament on 17/11/2024.
