Tennis: Rolex (watchmaker) becomes a global partner & official timekeeper of the WTA from 2024

Swiss watchmaker Rolex has become a global partner (2^nd level) of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2025 season, announced the body on 19/11/2024.

The brand, which has also been a partner of the Association of Tennis Professionals since 2013, has been involved with the women's professional circuit since 2011, as sponsor of the WTA Finals, the annual end-of-season tournament that brings together the highest-ranked players in the WTA rankings (singles and doubles).

As part of this extended agreement, Rolex remains committed to the Finals and becomes the official timekeeper and timepiece of the Hologic WTA Tour. The two partners will also produce dedicated content on social media.

"Rolex expands its relationship with the WTA at a time of growing popularity for women’s tennis. WTA events now attract an annual televised audience of more than 1 billion through broadcast partners across the world. The WTA's social media presence is also growing with followers up 26% over the last year and video views up 195% year to date," explained the WTA.
