FIFA: AB InBev (brewing company) official partner of the Club World Cup 2025

Belgian brewing company AB InBev has stepped up its commitment to FIFA and become an official partner of the Club World Cup 2025, announced the international federation on 25/11/2024.

Under the agreement, the group will have the status of "official beer partner" and will promote its Budweiser and Michelob Ultra brands during the competition, as well as "local brands in select markets," according to FIFA. The partnership also includes the "Player of the Match Award, high profile exposure assets, event integration, unique client and customer experiences, and more."

AB InBev, through its Budweiser (USA) beer brand, is a sponsor of the 2026 World Cup, and has been a partner of the competition since 1986. The brand was notably distributed during the 2022 World Cup in the "FIFA Fan Festival" (fanzones), despite a decision by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), which organised the competition, to ban the sale of alcohol inside and around stadiums. The brewery group was also one of the official sponsors of the Women's World Cup 2023.
