Portugal: Puma succeeds Nike as equipment supplier for the Portuguese Football Federation from 2025

Puma is to become the equipment supplier to the Federaçao Portuguesa de Futebol as part of a "long-term" agreement from 2025, announced the German brand on 27/11/2024. The partnership covers all the men's, women's and youth national teams, "as well as the Federation's futsal, beach football and esports teams."

The "new products and creative direction" developed by Puma for the FPF will be unveiled in early 2025. The German group succeeds Nike, which has equipped the Federation since 1997 (28 seasons). The American brand, whose contract expires on 31/12/2024, has paid an estimated annual fee of €10m over the 2019-2024 cycle.

Puma is also the technical sponsor and official ball supplier for the Liga Portugal (Liga Portugal Betclic, Segunda Liga, Allianz Cup) over the 2023-2026 cycle.
