With a turnover of €437.5m for the 2022-23 financial year (01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive) posted a result 74% higher than that of Aston Villa FC (Premier League, €251.6m) as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 5 of the new league phase in the 2024-25 Champions League on Wednesday 27/11/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at Villa Park (Birmingham, ENG).

During the 2022-23 season, the Italian club's wage bill (€352m) was 57% higher than that of their English rivals (€224m). At the time, Juventus posted a net loss of €123.7m, while Aston Villa posted a loss of €138.2m.

While Aston Villa's annual accounts for 2023-24 are not yet available, Juventus posted a turnover of €360m and a net loss that increased to €199.2m. The club, which has not had a main shirt sponsor since the end of the 2023-24 season, displays the British NGO Save the Children as a main shirt sponsor.
