LALIGA: a match on EA SPORTS FC 25 (video game) & in reality featuring Luis Figo & Carles Puyol

As part of Gamergy 2024, an esports event in Madrid (ESP), a match featuring LALIGA legends Luis Figo (POR) and Carles Puyol (ESP) will be played on EA Sports FC 25 (Electronic Arts) in the first half and in reality in the second half, announced the Spanish league on 28/11/2024.

The two former professional footballers will face gamers and YouTubers xBuyer (ESP) and Spursito (AND). "The first half of the match will be played on EA Sports FC 25 in 'Rush mode' (see below), and the second half on a football pitch at Gamergy specifically designed for the occasion, with the dimensions and rules of Rush, brought into the real world," explained LALIGA. Other LALIGA legends and EA Sports FC gamers "who will complete both teams will be announced progressively until the day of the competition" via the Spanish league on social media.
