Diarra case: "Extensive and constructive feedback on article 17 of the RSTJ" (FIFA)

"Following the opening of a global dialogue on the transfer system with a view to adapting article 17 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), FIFA has received extensive and constructive feedback from a variety of interested parties," announced the international federation on 28/11/2024, just over a month after launching a dedicated online platform on which interested parties could submit their comments (until 15/11/2024).

This initiative came four days after FIFA indicated that it wanted to initiate a dialogue with "key stakeholders" to discuss the transfer system and the adaptation of Article 17 of the RSTJ. The Global Discussion Forum is the consequence of the decision handed down by the Court of Justice of the European Union on 04/10/2024.
