2030 & 2034 World Cups: FIFA publishes bid evaluation reports

The joint bid by Spain (RFEF), Morocco (FRMF) and Portugal (FPF) to host the 2030 World Cup (which will also include a match in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to celebrate the competition's Centenary) and that of Saudi Arabia (SAFF) for the 2034 edition "exceed the minimum hosting requirements," according to FIFA, which published the evaluation report for each of these two bids on 29/11/2024.

The world body based its assessment on "a thorough assessment of each bid, including inspection visits to the bidding countries". These documents "will be submitted to the Extraordinary FIFA Congress being held by video conference on Wednesday, 11/12/2024 to determine the hosts."

• As far as the 2030 World Cup is concerned, the Spain-Morocco-Portugal trio received an average score of 4.2/5, while the centenary celebration with three matches in South America received 3.6/5.
