LALIGA: opening of an office in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) to "boost its growth in the region"

From 02/12/2024, LALIGA will open an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in order to "boost its growth in the region," announced the Spanish league on 03/12/2024. This "workspace" is located within the Saudi Pro League headquarters.

The opening of the office marks "a milestone in the collaboration between LALIGA and the SPL. This partnership reflects the strategic importance of Saudi Arabia for LALIGA, the good relationship between LALIGA and the SPL, and the immense passion that Saudi football fans have for LALIGA," said the Spanish body.

The office was inaugurated by Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA, and Omar Mugharbel, CEO of the Saudi Pro League. "LALIGA will also have a delegate in Riyadh soon, as a part of its strategic internationalisation plan."

This is the 12^th office opened by LALIGA outside Spain, after Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Johannesburg (South Africa), Lagos (Nigeria), New York (United States), Delhi (India), Shanghai and Beijing (China), Mexico City (Mexico), Singapore, Brussels (Belgium) and London (United Kingdom).
