FC Barcelona: Mobile Ticket allows fans to access the stadium using their smartphones

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) have launched Mobile Ticket, an application that allows fans to get their tickets for matches at the Camp Nou (95,000 seats) on their smartphones, announced the club on 18/02/2015 . "The Mobile Ticket scheme is an example of how technology can make access to the ground easier and more comfortable," said Didac Lee, director responsible for new technologies at FC Barcelona on 18/02/2015.

Fans have to download the "Pass Book" application if they have an Apple smartphone, or "Pass Wallet" if they have an Android device. When they buy their tickets, they receive an email that they can then transfer to the application that they have downloaded. The email is then converted into a dematerialised ticket which can be used directly through the smartphone.
