CBF: Nike extends as kit supplier to Brazil's national teams (2027-2038; $100m/year)

Nike has extended as the official kit supplier for the Brazilian national teams for a further 12 years (2027-2038), announced the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol on 06/12/2024. The agreement covers all the national teams (men's, women's, youth, beach soccer and futsal).

Under this renewed agreement, the CBF will, for the first time, receive royalties on the sale of its national teams' kits, will be able to open its own shops "worldwide" and will have the option of licensing its merchandise.

• The American group has been supplying the Brazilian teams' kits since 1996. This extended agreement brings the total duration of the contract to 42 years. It is the second longest equipment supplier agreement in force, behind the one linking adidas to the Deutscher Fussball Bund for 76 seasons (since 1951, which will not be renewed after 2027).
• The CBF, which receives €57.2m a year from Nike until the end of 2026, should see this amount rise to $100m (€94.5m) from 2027. The Brazilian Football Confederation will thus receive a similar amount to the €100m paid by Nike to the Fédération…
