FIBA: a record 352 million views on social media for the 3x3 basketball circuit in 2024 (+76%)

The FIBA 3x3 World Tour, the world's professional 3x3 basketball circuit, generated a record 352 million views on social media in 2024, up 76% on the 2023 season, announced the international federation on 04/12/2024.

"The FIBA 3x3 World Tour showed no sign of slowing down in 2024. This translated into unprecedented social media numbers with impressions up by 46.4% from last year to 366 million. Views went up by a staggering 76% to 352 million compared to 2023, while engagements increased to 12 million up from 10 million the previous year," said FIBA, whose 2024 edition of its 3x3 basketball circuit featured 70 teams (more than 300 players) across 17 events.

"3x3 basketball’s growing global fanbase was able to watch the FIBA 3x3 World Tour via a record number of broadcast partners reaching more than 150 countries across all five continents, ensuring no matter where fans were in the world they were able to watch their favourite stars in action," added the body.
