United Kingdom/Ireland: Warner Bros. Discovery channels to be distributed by Sky until 2026

The UK pay-TV operator Sky has extended its partnership with the US media and entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. Discovery for the distribution of the latter's channels on Sky packages in the UK and Ireland until the beginning of 2026, according to the telecommunications group on 09/12/2024.

This agreement, previously renewed in 2020, has been extended until the launch in both territories of Max (a merger between the HBO Max and Discovery+ platforms), Warner Bros. Discovery's premium streaming service. Under the terms of the agreement, after the launch, subscribers to Sky and its NOW streaming platform will be able to benefit from additional content from the American conglomerate's streaming service.

Sky will continue to distribute the various Warner Bros. Discovery's sports channels: Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and those of the pay-TV bouquet TNT Sports, owned by the American group.
