Italy: 123 million cumulative viewers for the national teams on Rai & Sky in 2024

The 45 matches of the Italian national football teams broadcast on the channels of the public broadcasting group Rai and the channels of the pay-TV operator Sky Italia recorded a cumulative audience of 123 million viewers in Italy in 2024, according to the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio on 09/12/2024. Only the four matches involving the men's national team at Euro 2024 were broadcast by Sky Italia.

The average audience share for these 45 matches was 14.38%. The cumulative audience was 10.4% up on 2023 (90.9 million viewers). The figures include matches from the men's national team (senior national team, under-21s, under-19s, under-17s and beach soccer) and the women's national team (senior national team).

"92% of viewers came from the 14 matches of the men's senior team, which reached 113 million cumulative viewers (average audience of 8 million) with an average audience share of 38.09%," said the FIGC.
