Ligue 2 BKT: a new trophy designed by Mathias Kiss & Christofle, as for Ligue 1

"After unveiling the competition's new logo, visual and audio identities, and rebranding in stadiums, digital and on television, LFP Media is unveiling the new Ligue 2 BKT champions trophy. Created by French artist Mathias Kiss and produced by Christofle (goldsmiths), the new trophy will complete the transformation of the Ligue 2 brand by 2024," said the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 11/12/2024.

"Like the McDonald's Ligue 1 McDonald's trophy, this piece is the work of Mathias Kiss in association with Christofle. Measuring 45cm in height and weighing just under 10kg, the new trophy, made entirely of silver, takes its design from the competition's logo. It rests on a hexagonal base and is crowned by an immaculate, luminous silver sphere," added the LFP.

"On Tuesday 10/12, the Ligue 2 BKT clubs, each represented by a player from their team, with the exception of AC Ajaccio and SC Bastia who were unfortunately unable to attend, discovered the trophy at a ceremony attended by Mathias Kiss and Vincent Labrune."
