FC Nantes: a CO2 emissions calculator for fans travelling to the stadium

FC Nantes (Ligue 1 McDonald's) is providing its supporters with a tool (see below) enabling them to calculate their CO2 emissions when travelling to the Stade de la Beaujoire (Nantes, Loire-Atlantique) according to the means of transport used and their place of departure, on 11/12/2024.

"With the aim of reducing its carbon footprint, FC Nantes is committing to eco-scoring for its supporters. A first in the French football ecosystem," said the club, which is using a tool created by ADEME and the French Ministry of Ecological Transition.

This project is supported by the FC Nantes Foundation via its "Marquons des éco-buts" (Score some eco-goals) programme. "This new initiative reinforces our awareness-raising scheme on the use of soft mobility to come to the stadium," added the club, which has integrated the calculator on its ticketing site.
