Liverpool FC: a strategy to support 500,000 people per season by 2030 via the club's Foundation

Liverpool FC (Premier League), via its Foundation, "has launched an ambitious new strategy committed to supporting 500,000 people per season by 2030" in the city of Liverpool (ENG), announced the club on 11/12/2024.

This new strategy involves "doubling funding" allocated to the LFC Foundation, according to the club, on the occasion of the publication of the Foundation's 2023-24 impact report (available to download).

Key figures from the report include:
• 127,000 beneficiaries of the Foundation's operations in 2023-24, compared with 122,861 in 2022-23;
• 18,000 sessions and events organised in 300 community venues, including 199 schools;
• £92.14m (€111.6m) in social value contributions generated by the various programmes, for a total of £284.48m (€345.2m) since the 2020-21 season;
• for every £1 invested, a social return on investment of £13.70 generated for the community;
• Nearly 60% LFC Foundation's beneficiaries from within the 20% "most-deprived local authority wards in the country."
