FFF: "Doing all we can to raise the budget for amateur football from €100m-€150m a year" (P. Diallo)

"We will be doing all we can to help amateur football, on a trajectory that will take us from the €100m that is allocated to it today to €150m per year. It's ambitious, but the project we have put forward is ambitious," said Philippe Diallo, who was re-elected president of the Fédération Française de Football on 14/12/2024.

Diallo, who was first elected on 10/06/2023, spoke at the federal assembly held at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel (15^th arrondissement) after receiving 20,422 votes, or 55.34% of the vote, versus 16,478 votes (44.65%) for his opponent Pierre Samsonoff.

"From mid-January 2025, I will convene an executive committee meeting to ensure that what we have said is implemented immediately. I will be asking the executive committee to look into ways of launching an advisory committee of amateur clubs, which is a way of involving our amateur clubs, who are now voters, in the executive committee's day-to-day running and decision-making process.
