England: Subway (fast food) title sponsor of the Women's League Cup from 2024-25 (£1m/year)

Subway, an American fast-food group, has acquired the naming rights to the Women's League Cup in England as part of a "multi-year deal" from the 2024-25 season, announced Women's Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL), the body responsible for the two women's professional football divisions, on 16/12/2024. The competition will thus be known as the "Subway Women's League Cup".

The agreement is worth £1m (€1.2m) per season, according to the British daily The Telegraph the same day. Subway succeeds German tyre brand Continental, which held the naming rights to the FA Women's Super League Continental Tyres Cup over the 2011-2024 cycle (13 seasons), in return for an estimated annual fee of £500,000 (€602,700).

The Women's League Cup was organised by The FA until 2024-25, before " the completion of the agreement to transfer ownership of its top two tiers (Barclays Women's Super League and Barclays Women's Championship) to a new independent company, Women's Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL)" on 16/08/2024.
