UEFA Women's Euro 2025: record prize money of €41m to be distributed to participating teams (+156%)

The prize money paid to the 16 national teams qualifying for the 2025 UEFA Women's Euro will amount to a record €41m, an increase of 156% on the €16m allocated to the 16 participants in the 2022 UEFA Women's Euro, announced UEFA at the end of its executive committee meeting in Lausanne (SUI) on 16/12/2024.

A fixed portion of €1.8m will be distributed to the competing teams, for a total of €28.8m (70% of the total prize money). The remaining 30% will be distributed according to the teams' performances:
• draw in the group stage: €50,000
• win in the group stage: €100,000
• qualification for the quarter-finals: €550,000
• qualification for the semi-finals: €700,000
• losing finalists: €850,000
• winners of the final: €1.75m

The winning team, if they win every match in the competition, will be able to accumulate a total of €5.1m, compared with a maximum of €2.08m in 2022. In addition, the money earmarked for the "club benefits programme" which compensates clubs for releasing their players, introduced in 2022 in England, will reach €6m in 2025, again an increase (+33%) on the previous edition…
