Stade Brestois: Arkéa Park - a project of general interest, cost still estimated at €106m

Arkéa Park, the future home of Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 1 McDonald's), due for completion in 2027 in Guipavas (Finistère, FRA), has been recognised as a project of general interest (PIG) by the city of Brest, announced the club on 17/12/2024. Only seven other sports facilities (see list below) benefit from this recognition.

The financing model for the project, with a majority of private investment and a minority contribution from public authorities, and the maintenance of an estimated construction cost of €106m "remain the objective" for the Breton club. "Even if the financial balance has changed recently, it is not true to say that the share of private money is decreasing in the financing of Arkéa Park. On the contrary, thanks to the mobilisation of Stade Brestois 29's partners, private investment in the company's capital has actually increased by €2.5m."
