Super League: the project renamed "Unify League" submitted to UEFA & FIFA by A22 Sports Management

A22 Sports Management has "announced the submission of a proposal to UEFA and FIFA to obtain official recognition for its new cross-border European club football competition" to be renamed the "Unify League", announced the Madrid (ESP) based company responsible for organising and promoting the European Super League project on 17/12/2024.

"A key feature (of the proposal) is a revised qualification system in which club participation is based on annual, domestic league performance. The proposal is also fully aligned with the UEFA definition of the 'European Sports Model'. The revised annual qualification system was developed in large part as a result of discussions with clubs, leagues and other parties. These discussions increased significantly after the CJEU ruling (see further reading) as it created a more constructive environment for open dialogue," added A22.
