esports/LFP: a new logo for eLigue 1, which becomes "eLigue 1 McDonald's" from 2025 to 2027

eLigue 1, the Ligue de Football Professionnel's official professional esports league played on the EA SPORTS FC 25 football video game, will carry the name of Ligue 1's title partner to become the eLigue 1 McDonald's from its ninth edition in 2025 and for three years, until 2027, announced LFP Media on 17/12/2024.

The League has also presented a new logo for this competition "in perfect harmony with the modernity and iconicity of the visual identities of the Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 2 BKT. Associated with the "Ligue 1" brand, this symbol asserts its uniqueness by highlighting the "e", a timeless and emblematic element of esport. This symbol is part of a new, more modern brand identity, inspired by that of the Ligue 1 McDonald's, and adapted to the codes of esport and gaming," added the LFP's commercial company.

The new edition of the competition, which was known as the eLigue 1 Uber Eats in 2023 and 2024, is due to kick off in January 2025. It will once again be broadcast 100% on Ligue 1's Twitch channel, as well as on a channel dedicated exclusively to the eLigue 1 created on…
