FIFA: Women's Development Programme renewed until 2027

• Commercial strategy (pilot programme)."

These are the additional modules through which national member associations can develop women's football at their level, as part of the FIFA Women's Development Programme, which will now run until 2027, announced the world body on 16/12/2024.

The development programme is designed to help member associations support the growth of women's football in a sustainable manner and "bring the women's game into the mainstream," according to FIFA.

"In line with FIFA's Women’s Football Strategy 2024-27, the FIFA Women's Development Programme is open to all 211 member associations providing them with funding and programmes as well as access to women’s football experts, additional equipment and technical support," added the body.

1,067 programmes implemented by 147 member associations since September 2021
