Basketball/FIBA: Red Bull title co-sponsor of new 3x3 basketball tournament (launch in Bangkok 2025)

Red Bull, an Austrian group specialised in energy drinks, has become the title co-sponsor of the "FIBA 3x3 Sponsor | Red Bull Champions Cup 2025", a new annual 3x3 basketball tournament presented by the international federation on 17/12/2024.

The first edition of this competition will be held at CentralWorld Square in Bangkok (Thailand) from 14 to 16/03/2025. Thailand will host the first five editions of the tournament, which will be organised by local company Tero Entertainment. Sponsor, a local energy drink, is the other co-sponsor of the event.

"The Champions Cup will be held annually and will feature the world's top 3x3 basketball teams, including continental cup winners, the highest-ranked teams in the FIBA 3x3 basketball rankings, Olympic gold medalists and the host nation. The Champions Cup presents a new opportunity to grow the game of 3x3 basketball globally, offering fans an electrifying format and athletes a new stage to shine," said FIBA.
