FIFA Intercontinental Cup: 1.92 million viewers for Real Madrid - CF Pachuca on Telecinco in Spain

Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) - CF Pachuca (MEX) (3-0), the final of the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup, drew an average of 1.92 million viewers on the private free-to-air channel Telecinco (Mediaset España Group) in Spain on Wednesday 18/12/2024 (kick-off at 18:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Kantar.

This figure represented an audience share of 22%. Mediaset España held the exclusive broadcasting rights in Spain for the 2024 edition of the competition.

Real Madrid thus won the first edition of this new six-team competition, which includes the winners of the UEFA Champions League, the CAF Champions League, the AFC Champions League, the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the OFC Champions League and the Copa Libertadores.

The final of this tournament was held at Lusail Stadium in Lusail (Qatar), a venue that hosted 10 matches at the 2022 World Cup, including one Round of 16 match, a quarter-final, a semi-final and the final between Argentina and France (3-3 and 4-2 on penalties).
