The major European clubs wish Chinese fans a happy New Year in Mandarin via video

The major European clubs published videos sending their best wishes in Mandarin to mark the Chinese New Year on the video platform Youku on 19/02/2015. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern Munich have published videos for the Chinese New Year, starring their best-known players.

Paris Saint-Germain also marked the occasion with a message on the LED boards the Parc des Princes during the game against Toulouse FC (3-1, 26^th matchday of Ligue 1), on 21/02/2015.

• AS Roma (Serie A) commemorated the Chinese New Year with the message "Happy New Year" in Mandarin on the front of their shirt in the match against Parma FC (0-0, 23^rd matchday), on 15/02/2015.
  • The club made use of the fact that they do not have a shirt sponsor to provide such visibility to the event which was broadcast on the Chinese television channel CCTV5+.

The message from Paris SG at their game against Toulouse FC
