IOC: Candidature documents for Sebastian Coe (GBR) & the six other presidential candidates

The IOC has published the candidature documents of the seven candidates vying to become president of the International Olympic Committee on 19/12/2024.

"Seven candidates will compete in the election for the presidency of the International Olympic Committee at the 144^th IOC Session held from 18 to 21/03/2025 in Greece," announced the international body on 16/09/2024. Whoever is elected during the Session will succeed Thomas Bach (GER) as president of the IOC.

A draw ranked the seven contenders in the following order on 25/11/2024:
1 - Prince Feisal Al Hussein (JOR, individual member)
2 - David Lappartient (FRA, UCI president)
3 - Johan Eliasch (SWE/GBR, president of the International Ski Federation)
4 - Juan Antonio Samaranch (ESP, individual member)
5 - Kirsty Coventry (ZIM, individual member)
6 - Sebastian Coe (GBR, president of World Athletics)
7 - Morinari Watanabé (JPN, president of the International Gymnastics Federation)
