Basketball: Reebok (USA, equipment manufacturer) partner of the WNBA from 2024

Reebok has entered into a "multi-year partnership" with the Women's National Basketball Association beginning with the 2024 season, announced the two parties on 19/12/2024.

The brand has the status of "league-authorised footwear supplier" to the Women's National Basketball Association, and "will aim to create inspiring and engaging content that brings fans closer to the game and its rising stars", in collaboration with its WNBA ambassadors Angel Reese (Chicago Sky) and Lexie Brown (Los Angeles Sparks).

The agreement marks Reebok's return to sports sponsorship, and more specifically to basketball. The brand, which was the NBA's official equipment supplier from 2001 to 2006, appointed two former NBA players, Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson, as president and vice-president of its basketball division on 12/10/2023, before signing a NIL agreement with American player Angel Reese, who now plays in the WNBA.
